The things Windows should do
but doesn't.
Install once. Forget forever.
One download. One .exe. No signup, no account. Runs on any Windows 10/11 machine.
Schedules itself to run when you're asleep. Scans the registry, writes the log, goes back to sleep.
Open any morning, see exactly what changed yesterday. Months later, years later. Everything, still there.
We don't need to compare —
we're different.
A snapshot tool shows what's installed today.
iLedger shows you what changed — and when.
Buried in MMC, built for IT admins, forgets after 30 days.
iLedger is built for developers, remembers forever.
Resets on every major update. Can't export.

Volume licensing, centralized dashboard, SSO, audit exports for SOC 2 / HIPAA / PCI-DSS. Coming Q3 2026.
Your install history
stays yours.
Straight answers.
Does iLedger watch my files?
No. iLedger only reads the Windows registry — specifically the Uninstall keys that Windows itself uses to track installed programs. It doesn't scan your filesystem, monitor network traffic, or watch running processes.
Does it work offline?
Entirely. iLedger has no network dependency in the free version. The scanner reads local registry keys, writes local log files, and never attempts a connection to any external server.
What Windows versions are supported?
Windows 10 (build 1903 or later) and Windows 11. Both 32-bit and 64-bit registry paths are scanned automatically.
What happens to my logs if I uninstall iLedger?
Your log files stay exactly where you put them. iLedger doesn't delete any data when it's removed. Your history is plain-text files on your own machine — they outlive the app.
Is this actually free, or freemium-bait?
Actually free. The desktop app is fully functional at no cost, forever. The upcoming Pro Cloud tier is optional and paid — it adds sync and backup for people who want it. If you never want to pay, you never have to.
How is this different from Windows Event Viewer?
Event Viewer logs software installation events but rolls them over after 30 days, buries them in a MMC interface designed for sysadmins, and can't export in any useful format. iLedger keeps every record permanently, exports to TXT/MD/JSON, and runs automatically on a schedule you control.
Can I see logs from before I installed iLedger?
The first scan captures everything currently installed on your machine at that moment — that's your baseline. Historical changes before installation are not recoverable unless you have prior iLedger logs. Future scans track everything forward from that point.
Will it slow down my machine?
No. The idle-aware scheduler only runs when your machine has been idle for 3+ hours. The scan itself takes a few seconds at most. It produces no CPU or disk load during normal use.
When is the Cloud tier launching?
